Then Job got up and tore his robe. He shaved his head, and then he threw himself down with his face to the ground.

His vigorous steps are restricted, and his own counsel throws him down.

His bones were full of his youthful vigor, but that vigor will lie down with him in the dust.

Have you ever in your life commanded the morning, or made the dawn know its place,

It scorns the tumult in the town; it does not hear the shouts of a driver.

"Can you pull in Leviathan with a hook, and tie down its tongue with a rope?

Its snorting throws out flashes of light; its eyes are like the red glow of dawn.
