And it happened at that time, when Jeroboam went out of Jerusalem, that the prophet Ahijah the Shilonite found him on the way, and caused him to turn aside out of the way. Now Ahijah had dressed himself with a new garment, and the two were alone in the countryside.

So they divided the land between them to explore it; Ahab went one way alone, and Obadiah went another way alone.
