For, if I am praying in a tongue, my spirit, is praying, but, my mind, is unfruitful.

What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, but I will pray also with the mind, - I will strike the strings with the spirit, butI will strike the strings also with the mind.

otherwise if you should give thanks by the spirit in an unknown tongue, the hearer cannot but appear unlearned upon this occasion; how then can he say Amen to thy thanksgiving? since he does not conceive what you say.

For, thou, indeed, excellently art giving thanks, but, the other, is not being built up.

But, in assembly, I desire to speak five words with my mind, that, others also, I may instruct, than myriads of words in a tongue.

Brethren! do not become children, in your understandings; but, in baseness, become babes, while, in your understandings, ye become, full-grown.

In the law it is written, "By men of foreign languages and by the lips of foreigners I will speak to this people, but even then they will not listen to me, says the Lord."

So that, the tongues, are for a sign - not unto them that believe, but, unto them that believe not; whereas, prophesying, is not for them that believe not, but, for them that believe.

But, if, all, be prophesying, - and there come in one who is unbelieving or unskilled, he is convicted by all, he is searched by all, the secrets of his heart, become manifest,

What then is the right course, believers? When you meet together, each one has a psalm, a teaching, a revelation (disclosure of special knowledge), a tongue, or an interpretation. Let everything be constructive and edifying and done for the good of all the church.

and if any man do speak in an unknown tongue, let but two speak, or three at the most, and that by turns: and let there be but one to interpret.

But, if there be none to translate, let him keep silence in assembly, and, unto himself, be speaking, and, unto God!

of the prophets let but two or three speak by turns, and let the others deliberate.

But if something has been revealed to another person sitting there, the first prophet should be silent.

For God is not a God of confusion, but, of peace: - as in all the assemblies of the saints.

As for the women, in the assemblies, let them be silent, for it is not permitted them to be speaking; but let them be in submission, - even as, the law, saith.

But if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home, for it is shameful for a woman to speak in church.

What! did God's Message to the world originate with you? or did it find its way to none but you?

But, if anyone knoweth not, he is unknown!

So, my brothers, cultivate the gift of prophetic speaking, but stop preventing others from speaking in ecstasy.

But let, all things, with comeliness, and by arrangement, be done.

But I make known to you, brethren, the glad tidings which I announced to you, which also ye received, in which also ye stand,

After that, he appeared to above five hundred brethren at once, - of whom, the greater number, remain until even now, but, some, have fallen asleep, -

But last of all he was seen by me, as one born out of due time.

But, by favour of God, I am what I am, and, his favour, which was unto me, hath not been made void, - but, much more abundantly than they all, have I toiled, albeit not, I, but the favour of God with me.

but whether I or they labour'd most, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed.

But if Christ is preached, that he rose from the dead, how say some among you, that there is no resurrection of the dead?

But, if, resurrection of the dead, there is none, not even Christ, hath been raised;

But if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching [is] in vain, and your faith [is] in vain.

But if the dead rise not, neither is Christ risen.

But if Christ has not been raised, your faith [is] empty; you are still in your sins.

Ah, if in this life we have nothing but a mere hope in Christ, we are of all men to be pitied most!

But, now, hath Christ been raised from among the dead, - a firstfruit of them who have fallen asleep;

But, each, in his own rank: - A firstfruit, Christ, after that, they who are the Christ's, in his presence,

For - He put, all things, in subjection under his feet. But, whensoever it shall be said - all things are in subjection! - it is evident that it means, - Except him who did put into subjection, unto him, the all things -

But whensoever have been put into subjection, unto him, the all things, then, the Son himself, alsoshall be put in subjection unto him who put in subjection, unto him, the all things, - that, God, may be, all things in all.

rouze from your sins, as is but just; for some of you have not the knowledge of God: I speak it to your shame.

But some one will say - How, are the dead raised? and, with what kind of body, do they come?

And, what thou sowest, not the body that shall come into existence, dost thou sow, but a naked kernel - if it so happen, of wheat, or of any of the rest, -

But God gives it a body as He wants, and to each of the seeds its own body.

Not all flesh, is the same flesh; but, one, indeed, is, the flesh of men, and, another, the flesh of beasts, and, another, the flesh of birds, and, another, of fishes;

And there are heavenly bodies, and earthly bodies, - but, of one kind, indeed, is the glory of the heavenly, and, of another kind, is the glory of the earthly; -

So it is with the resurrection of the dead. The [human] body that is sown is perishable and mortal, it is raised imperishable and immortal.

The body is planted in a state of dishonor but is raised in a state of splendor. It is planted in weakness but is raised in power.

It is planted a physical body but is raised a spiritual body. If there is a physical body, there is also a spiritual body.

And so it is written, "The first man Adam was made a living soul." But the last Adam is an enlivening spirit.

Howbeit, not first, is the body of the spirit, but that, of the soul, - afterwards, that of the spirit.

But I say this, brothers, that flesh and blood is not able to inherit the kingdom of God, nor can corruption inherit incorruptibility.

Lo! a sacred secret, unto you, do I declare: - we shall not, all, sleep, but we shall, all, be changed, -

in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the sound of the last trumpet (for the trumpet shall sound) and the dead shall rise incorruptible; but as for us, we shall be changed.

But, whensoever, this mortal, shall clothe itself with immortality, then, shall be brought to pass the saying that is written - Death hath been swallowed up, victoriously;

But thanks be to God,

But, unto God, be thanks, who is giving unto us the victory, through our Lord Jesus Christ.

But concerning the contribution to the saints, as I commanded the churches of Galatia, so you also do.
