Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.

To every man that doth good shall come praise, honour and peace, to the Jew first, and also to the gentile.

To what conclusion, then, shall we come? Are we to persist in sinning in order that the grace extended to us may be the greater?

Who will bring any charge against God’s elect (His chosen ones)? It is God who justifies us [declaring us blameless and putting us in a right relationship with Himself].

Or things on high, or things under the earth, or anything which is made, will be able to come between us and the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

But it is not as though the word of God hath come to nought. For they are not all Israel, that are of Israel:

Or, Who will go down into the deep? (that is, to make Christ come again from the dead:)

I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
