Glory in His holy name, let the heart of those who seek Jehovah rejoice.

saying, To you will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance,

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice. And let them say among the nations, Jehovah reigns.

Let the sea roar, and the fullness of it. Let the fields rejoice, and all that is in them.

And now, O Jehovah, let the thing which You have spoken concerning Your servant and concerning his house be established forever, and do as You have said.

Let it even be established, so that Your name may be magnified forever, saying, Jehovah of Hosts is the God of Israel, a God to Israel. And let the house of David Your servant be established before You.

And now let it please You to bless the house of Your servant so that it may be before You forever. For You have blessed, O Jehovah, and it is blessed forever.

Be of good courage and let us behave ourselves bravely for our people, and for the cities of our God. And let Jehovah do what is good in His sight.

And it happened after the year had ended, at the time kings go forth, Joab led out the power of the army and wasted the country of the sons of Ammon. And he came and besieged Rabbah. But David stayed at Jerusalem. And Joab struck Rabbah and destroyed it.
