Beloved, I write not a new commandment to you, but an old commandment, which you had from the beginning; the old commandment is the word which you heard.

And the anointing which you received from him continues in you, and you have no need that any one should teach you; but as his anointing teaches you of all things, and is true and is not a lie, even as it has taught you, continue in him.
