in whose eyes a reprobate is despised, but who honors those who fear LORD, he that swears to his own hurt, and changes not,

he who puts not his money out to interest, nor takes a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved.

Their sorrows shall be multiplied who give gifts for another [god]. Their drink-offerings of blood I will not offer, nor take their names upon my lips.

Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices. My flesh also shall dwell in {hope (LXX/NT)}.

Thou have proved my heart. Thou have visited me in the night. Thou have tried me, and find nothing. I have purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.

My steps have held fast to thy paths. My feet have not slipped.

For I have kept the ways of LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.

Hide not thy face from me. Put not thy servant away in anger. Thou have been my help. Cast me not off, nor forsake me, O God of my salvation.

Deliver me not over to the will of my adversaries. For FALSE witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.

To thee, O LORD, I will call. My rock, be not thou deaf to me, lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like those who go down into the pit.

Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, who speak peace with their neighbors, but mischief is in their hearts.

because they regard not the works of LORD, nor the operation of his hands. He will break them down and not build them up.

to the end that [my] glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to thee forever.

and thou have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy. Thou have set my feet in a large place.

Let me not be put to shame, O LORD, for I have called upon thee. Let the wicked be put to shame. Let them be silent in Sheol.

Blessed {are those (LXX/NT)} whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me. My moisture was changed [as] with the drought of summer. Selah.

For this let everyone who is devout pray to thee in a time when thou may be found. Surely when the great waters overflow they shall not reach to him.

For without cause they have hid their net for me [in] a pit. Without cause have they dug [a pit] for my soul.

Let destruction come upon him unawares, and let his net that he has hid catch himself. Let him fall in it with destruction.

But in my adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together. The wretches gathered themselves together against me, and I knew [it] not. They tore me, and ceased not.

Let not those who are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me. Neither let them wink with the eye who hate me without a cause.

For they speak not peace, but they devise deceitful words against those who are quiet in the land.

Thou have seen it, O LORD. Keep not silence. O LORD, be not far from me.

Judge me, O LORD my God, according to thy righteousness, and let them not rejoice over me.

Let them not say in their heart, Aha, so would we have it. Let them not say, We have swallowed him up.

For he flatters himself in his own eyes, that his iniquity will not be found out and be hated.

He devises iniquity upon his bed. He sets himself in a way that is not good. He does not abhor evil.

Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of sinners drive me away.
