Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

But Simon's wife's mother lay sick of a fever, and immediately they told him of her.

And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and said unto him, I will; be clean.

And said unto him, See that you say nothing to any man: but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

Which is it easier to say to the paralytic, Your sins be forgiven you; or to say, Arise, and take up your bed, and walk?

But that you may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins, (he said to the paralytic)

I say unto you, Arise, and take up your bed, and go your way into your house.

And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; so that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it in this fashion.

When Jesus heard it, he said unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

And the disciples of John and of the Pharisees used to fast: and they came and said unto him, Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples fast not?

But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.

And no man puts new wine into old wineskins: else the new wine does burst the wineskins, and the wine is spilled, and the wineskins will be ruined: but new wine must be put into new wineskins.

But Jesus withdrew himself with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Judea,

And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but comes to an end.

But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit has never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal judgment:

But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.

And he said unto them, Is a lamp brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a lampstand?

For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was anything kept secret, but that it should come into the open.

But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest is come.

But when it is sown, it grows up, and becomes greater than all plants, and shoots out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.

But without a parable he spoke not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.

And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.

But Jesus permitted him not, but said unto him, Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and has had compassion on you.

And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was no better, but rather grew worse,

But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.

And when he came in, he said unto them, Why make you this commotion, and weep? the child is not dead, but sleeps.

And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he took the father and the mother of the child, and them that were with him, and entered in where the child was lying.

But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not right to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.

And when she was come to her house, she found the demon gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.

And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw anything.

After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.

And they answered, John the Baptist: but some say, Elijah; and others, One of the prophets.

But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get you behind me, Satan: for you consider not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.

But I say unto you, That Elijah has indeed come, and they have done unto him whatsoever they desired, as it is written of him.

And often it has cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if you can do anything, have compassion on us, and help us.

But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose.

But they held their peace: for on the way they had disputed among themselves, who should be the greatest.

But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man who shall do a miracle in my name, that can soon after speak evil of me.

Salt is good: but if the salt has lost its saltiness, how will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.

And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? testing him.

And they said, Moses allowed a man to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.

And he said unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, commits adultery against her.

And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she commits adultery.

But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Allow the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answered again, and said unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!

But Jesus said unto them, You know not what you ask: can you drink of the cup that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?

But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared.

But Jesus called them to him, and said unto them, You know that they who are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their leaders exercise authority over them.

And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but you have made it a den of thieves.

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be removed, and be cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he said shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he said.

But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed.

And they caught him, and beat him, and sent him away empty handed.

But those tenants said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours.

And they sought to lay hold on him, but feared the people: for they knew that he had spoken the parable against them: and they left him, and went their way.
