I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Christ Jesus:

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God, that we may know the things which are freely given to us of God.

According to the grace of God given to me, as a wise master-builder I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon; but let every one take heed how he buildeth thereon.

Withdraw not from each other, unless it be by consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to prayer, and may come together again, lest Satan tempt you through your incontinence.

Now concerning virgins, I have no commandment from the Lord: but I give my judgment, as one who hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful.

For if I by grace am a partaker, why am I blamed for that for which I give thanks?

Give no offence either to the Jews, or to the Gentiles, or to the church of God:

Whereas for a woman to have long hair, is a glory to her; for her hair was given her instead of a veil.

took bread, And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat, this is my body, which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of me.

Therefore I give you to know, that as no one speaking by the Spirit of God, calleth Jesus accursed; so no one can say, Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each, to profit withal.

For to one is given by the Spirit, the word of wisdom; to another by the same Spirit, the word of knowledge;

And though I give all my goods to feed the poor, and deliver up my body to be burned, and have not love, it profiteth me nothing.

So inanimate things which give a sound, whether pipe or harp, unless they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped?

And if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who will prepare himself for the battle?
