[It is being sent] to Titus, my true son, [who shares] in a common faith. [May you have] unearned favor and peace [which come] from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.

For there are many rebellious men who are empty talkers [just windbags] and deceivers; especially those of the circumcision [those Jews who insist that Gentile believers must be circumcised and keep the Law in order to be saved].

This witness is true. So say sharp words to them so that they may come to the right faith,

For the [remarkable, undeserved] grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.

so that we might come into right standing with God through His unmerited favor and become heirs of eternal life in accordance with our hope.

When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus, be diligent to come unto me to Nicopolis: for I have determined there to winter.
