who both killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets, and drove us out, and pleased not God, and are contrary to all men;

But, Timothy having just now come to us from you, and having brought us good tidings of your faith and love, and that ye have good remembrance of us at all times, longing to see us, as we also to see you??7 for this reason, brethren, we were comforted over you, in all our tribulation and distress, through your faith;

For what thanksgiving can we render again to God concerning you for all the joy wherewith we rejoice on your account before our God;

Now may our God and Father Himself, and our Lord Jesus, direct our way to you;

Finally, then, brethren, we beseech and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that, as ye received from us how ye ought to walk, and to please God??ven as ye also are walking??hat ye abound more and more;
