and to wait for His Son from Heaven, Whom He raised from the dead, Jesus, Who delivers us from the coming wrath.

For neither, at any time, did we use a word of flattery, as ye know, nor a semblance of covetousness, God is witness;

For ye, brethren, became imitators of the assemblies of God, that are in Judaea in Christ Jesus; because ye suffered the same things from your own countrymen, as they also did from the Jews;

For God did not call us unto uncleanness, but in sanctification.

because the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven, with a shout, with a voice of an archangel, and with a trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first;

because God did not appoint us to wrath, but to the obtaining of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
