Thou shalt not contend with man to no purpose, if he did thee no evil

And thou saidst, How did I hate instruction, and my heart despise reproofs

Sacrifices of peace upon me: today I repaid my vows.

And he sinning against me did violence to his soul: all hating me loved death.

The unjust one did a work of falsehood: and the seed of justice the reward of truth.

Did I not write to thee three days ago in counsels and knowledge?

Thou shalt not say, According to what he did to me, thus will I do to him: I will turn back to the man according to his work.
