So those who were sent went away and found it just as he had told them.

And as they were untying the colt, its owners said to them, "Why are you untying the colt?"

And as he went along, many spread their garments on the road.

And, as he was now drawing near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen,

One day as he was teaching the people in the temple and preaching the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes, together with the elders, came up to him

He answered them, "I also will ask you a question; now tell me,

In the resurrection, therefore, whose wife will she be? For all seven had her as wife."

For they no longer dared to ask him any question.

And as some spoke of the temple, how it was adorned with beautiful stones and offerings, he said,

"As for these things which you see, the days will come when there shall not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down."

So they went, and found it just as he had told them; and they prepared the Passover.

For the Son of Man goes as it has been determined, but woe to that man by whom he is betrayed!"

For who is greater, one who sits at the table, or one who serves? Is it not the one who sits at the table? But I am among you as One who serves.

He came out, and went to the Mount of Olives, as was his custom, and his disciples followed him.

Then Jesus said to the chief priests, officers of the temple, and the elders who had come to him, "Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs?

And a servant girl, seeing him as he sat in the firelight, looked at him, and said, "This man also was with him."

As soon as it was day, the council of the elders of the people came together, both chief priests and scribes; and they led him away to their council chamber, saying,

and said to them, "You have brought this man to me as one who was inciting the people to rebellion. And behold, having examined him in your presence, I have found no guilt in this man concerning those charges which you make against him;

And as they led him away, they seized one Simon of Cyrene, who was coming in from the country, and laid on him the cross, to carry it behind Jesus.

And as they were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead?

And he said to them, "What is this conversation which you are exchanging with each other as you walk?" And they stood still, looking sad.

Some of those who were with us went to the tomb, and found it just as the women had said; but him they did not see."

As they drew near the village to which they were going, he acted as though he would be going farther,

As they were saying this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, "Peace be with you."

See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Handle me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have."

Then he led them out as far as Bethany, and he lifted up his hands and blessed them.
