He who comes from above is above all things. He who is of the earth is of the earth, and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all things.

When Jesus saw this man laying down, and knew that he fares now a long time, he says to him, Do thou desire to become well?

The infirmed man answered him, Sir, I have no man so that when the water is agitated he might put me into the pool, but while I am coming another steps down before me.

And straightaway the man became well, and took up his bed and walked. Now it was Sabbath on that day.

He answered them, The man who made me well, that man said to me, Take up thy bed and walk.

After these things Jesus finds him in the temple, and said to him, Behold, thou have become well. Sin no more, lest something worse may happen to thee.

The man departed and reported to the Jews that Jesus is the man who made him well.

so that all would honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. The man not honoring the Son, does not honor the Father who sent him.

Marvel not at this, because an hour comes in which all those in the sepulchers will hear his voice,

But if ye believe not the writings of that man, how will ye believe my sayings?

Jesus therefore having lifted up his eyes, and having seen that a great multitude comes to him, he says to Philip, From where will we buy loaves, so that these may eat?

but how he now sees, we know not. Or who opened his eyes, we know not. He has maturity, ask him. He will speak for himself.

And they will, no, not follow a stranger, but will flee from him, because they do not recognize the voice of strangers.

All, as many as came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them.

And many came to him, and they said, John indeed did not one sign, but all, as many things as John spoke about this man, were true.

His disciples therefore said, Lord, if he has become asleep, he will be healed.
