Paul, an apostlesent not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead

Am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.

For I would have you know, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man.

For I did not receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ.

For before certain men came from James, he used to eat with the Gentiles; but when they came, he began to draw back and separate himself, fearing the party of the circumcision.

yet who know that a man is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ, and not by works of the law, because by works of the law will no flesh be justified.

So then those who are of faith are blessed with Abraham, the man of faith.

Now that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for, "The righteous man shall live by faith."

To give a human example, brethren: even though it is only a man's covenant, yet when it has been ratified, no one sets it aside or adds conditions to it.

What I mean is this: the Law, which came four hundred and thirty years later, does not invalidate a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to nullify the promise.

I mean that the heir, as long as he is a child, is no different from a slave, although he is the owner of all the estate;

I testify again to every man who receives circumcision, that he is under obligation to keep the whole Law.

I have confidence in the Lord that you will take no other view than mine; and the one who is troubling you will bear his judgment, whoever he is.

Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
