Then the Jews argued with one another, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?

This is the Bread which came down from Heaven, not as your fathers ate the manna, and died; he who partakes of this Bread shall live forever.

He said these things in the synagogue as He taught in Capernaum.

But there are some of you who do not believe. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who is the one betraying Him.

Then Jesus said to them, My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready.

You go up to this feast; I am not yet going up to this feast; for My time is not yet fulfilled.

But when His brothers had gone up, then He also went up to the feast, not openly, but as in secret.

Then the Jews sought Him at the feast and said, Where is He?

And there was much murmuring among the crowd concerning Him, for some said, He is a good man; others said, No, but he deceives the crowd.

He who speaks of himself seeks his own glory, but he who seeks the glory of Him who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him.

Because of this Moses gave you circumcision (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers,) and you circumcise a man on the sabbath day.

Then some of those from Jerusalem said, Is this not the one they seek to kill?
