having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and the love which you have for all the saints,

in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins,

For I wish you to know what a conflict I have for you and those in Laodicea, and as many as have not seen my face in the flesh,

As therefore you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in him,

having been buried with him in baptism, in which you have also been raised together through the effectual faith of God who raised him from the dead;

Which have an appearance of wisdom in voluntary worship and humiliation, and in a rigorous treatment of the body, [which is held] in no respect for the surfeiting of the flesh.

IF you, therefore, have been raised with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God;

For you have died, and your life is hid with Christ in God;

And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, for which you have been called in one body; and be thankful.

Masters, render to your servants what is just and equal, knowing also that you have a master in heaven.

whom I have sent to you for this purpose, that he may know your affairs and comfort your hearts,
