And they were all amazed, so that they inquired of each other, saying, What is this, what new kind of doctrine is this? for He commands with authority even the impure spirits, and they obey Him.

great numbers were immediately gathered together, so that there was no more room to contain them, not even about the door: and as he was preaching the word unto them,

And Jesus, who knew immediately in his spirit that they were thus reasoning within themselves, said unto them, Why do ye dispute these things in your hearts?

And he instantly arose, and taking up his couch, went out before them all, so that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, we never saw the like.

And the scribes and pharisees, when they saw Him eating with publicans and sinners, said to his disciples, What is the meaning that He eateth with publicans and sinners?

Which Jesus hearing, saith unto them, They that are in health have no need of a physician, but they that are ill: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.

And He said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, in his necessity, when he was hungry, himself and those that were with him?

that in seeing they may see and not perceive, and in hearing they may hear and not understand, least they should be converted, and their sins be forgiven them.

And in like manner, they that are sown as on stony grounds are such, as when they hear the word,

And those that are sown as among thorns, are these: such as hear the word indeed,

And mind what ye hear: for with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you; and more shall be imparted to you that are observant:

for whosoever hath, to him more shall be given; and he that hath not, even what he hath, or seemeth to have, shall be taken from him.

but after it is sown, it grows up, and becomes greater than all herbs, and produces large branches, so that the birds of the air may lodge under it's shadow.

And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now almost full.

And they were exceedingly afraid, and said to one another, Who is this? that even the wind and the sea obey Him?

And when those that saw it told them what had happened to the demoniac,

And as He went into the ship, the demoniac intreated Him that he might be with Him:

and earnestly intreated Him, saying, My little daughter is at the point of death, I beseech thee that thou wouldst come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed, and she will live.

and had suffered a great deal from many physicians, and spent all that she had, and received no benefit, but rather grew worse,

And immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt within herself that she was healed of the disorder.

And immediately Jesus, knowing in Himself that power was gone out of Him, turned about in the croud and said, Who touched my clothes?

But Jesus hearing the word that was spoken, immediately saith to the ruler of the synagogue, Fear not, only believe:

And they laughed at Him: but when He had turned them all out, He taketh the father, and the mother of the child, and those three that were with Him, and goes in where the child was laid:

And He strictly charged them, that no one should know it: and bid them give her something to eat.

and when the sabbath was come, He began to teach in the synagogue: and many that heard Him were astonished, and said, From whence hath He these things? and what is this wisdom which is given unto Him, that even such mighty things are done by his hands?

And He said unto them, wheresoever ye enter into a house, there stay till ye leave that place.

And whosoever will not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, it shall be more tolerable for Sodom or Gomorrah in the day of judgement, than for that city.

Then He cometh to Bethsaida, where they brought to Him a blind man, and begged of Him that He would touch him.

But I tell you, that Elias is come, and they have done to him whatever they would, as it is written of him.

And when he had rored and vehemently convulsed him, he came out of him: and the child was as one dead, so that many said, that he was dead.

And they departed from thence and passed through Galilee, and He was not willing that any should know it;

But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no one, that worketh a miracle in my name, and can presently speak evil of me:

for he that is not against us, is for us.

And if thy hand cause thee to offend, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands, to go into hell, into the fire that will never be extinguished;

And they brought to Him little children that He might touch them: and the disciples rebuked those that brought them.

And as he went out into the way, there came one running and kneeling to Him, and asked Him, Good master, what shall I do, that I may inherit eternal life?
