For the flesh lusteth contrary to the spirit, and the spirit contrary to the flesh. These are contrary one to the other, so that ye cannot do that which ye would.

envying, murder, drunkenness, gluttony, and such like. Of the which I tell you before, as I have told you in time past, that they which commit such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.

They that are Christ's have crucified the flesh, with the appetites and lusts.

Brothers, if a person is caught doing something wrong, those of you who are spiritual should restore that person gently. Watch out for yourself so that you are not tempted as well.

Bear one another's burdens, and in that way carry out the law of the Christ.

If any man seem to himself that he is somewhat, when indeed he is nothing, the same deceiveth himself in his imagination.

But let each person test his own accomplishments so that he can determine if he should get credit for them or if his neighbor should.

Let him that is taught in the word, minister unto him that teacheth him in all good things.

Be not deceived, God is not mocked. For whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he reap.

He that soweth in his flesh, shall of the flesh reap corruption: but he that soweth in the spirit shall, of the spirit, reap life everlasting.

And, in doing that which is honourable, let us not be fainthearted; for, in due season, we shall reap, if we faint not.

So then, as we have opportunity, let us work that which is good toward all men, and especially toward them that are of the household of the faith.

Look at how large the letters are that I am using in writing this, and I am writing them myself.

as many as are willing to make a good appearance in the flesh, these constrain you to be circumcised -- only that for the cross of the Christ they may not be persecuted,

For they themselves which are circumcised keep not the law: but desire to have you circumcised that they might rejoice in your flesh.

God forbid that I should rejoice but in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, whereby the world is crucified as touching me, and I as concerning the world.

For neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything; the only thing that matters is a new creation!

And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon Israel that pertaineth to God.

Let nobody trouble me after this, for I carry on my body the scars that mark me as Jesus' slave.
