in order that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and our Lord Jesus Christ.

But we beseech you, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering unto him;

For indeed when we were with you, we proclaimed this to you, that if any one does not wish to work, let him not eat.

But if any one does not obey our word through the epistle, note him; do not keep company with him; in order that he may be ashamed;

consider him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
