For David says of Him,
I saw the Lord always in my presence;
For He is at my right hand, so that I will not be shaken.

And seizing him by the right hand, he raised him up; and immediately his feet and his ankles were strengthened.

But when Peter saw this, he replied to the people, “Men of Israel, why are you amazed at this, or why do you gaze at us, as if by our own power or piety we had made him walk?

And it will be that every soul that does not heed that prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’

So I sent for you immediately, and you have been kind enough to come. Now then, we are all here present before God to hear all that you have been commanded by the Lord.”

We are witnesses of all the things He did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They also put Him to death by hanging Him on a cross.

not to all the people, but to witnesses who were chosen beforehand by God, that is, to us who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead.

Surely no one can refuse the water for these to be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we did, can he?”

And he ordered them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to stay on for a few days.

Therefore they spent a long time there speaking boldly with reliance upon the Lord, who was testifying to the word of His grace, granting that signs and wonders be done by their hands.

And when an attempt was made by both the Gentiles and the Jews with their rulers, to mistreat and to stone them,

This man was listening to Paul as he spoke, who, when he had fixed his gaze on him and had seen that he had faith to be made well,
