for you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance.

But he must ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.

Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months.
