and seeing a fig tree at a distance having leaves, he went to see if he could find any thing on it. And having come to it, he found nothing except leaves, for it was not time for figs.

And passing along in the morning, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.

I tell you truly, that whoever shall say to this mountain, be raised up and be cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he says will be done, whatever he says shall be done for him.

And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we say from heaven, he will say, Why did you not believe him?

But if we say from men, they feared the people, for all considered John as a prophet indeed.

and where he enters in, say to the master of the house, The teacher says, where is the public room in which I may eat the passover with my disciples?

We heard him say, I will destroy this temple made with hands, and in three days will build another made without hands.

And Jesus said, I am; and you shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of the power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.

But he denied it, saying, I do not know [him]; neither do I know what you say. And he went out into the porch, and a cock crew.

And Pilate asked him, Are you the king of the Jews? And Jesus answered and said to him, As you say.

And coming to the tomb they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed with a white robe; and they were astonished.

And he said to them, Be not astonished; you seek Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He is raised; he is not here. See the place where they laid him.

But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he goes before you to Galilee; there you shall see him as he said to you.
