(And so having ascended, what is it except that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

Therefore this I say, and testify in the Lord, that ye no more walk as also the rest of the nations, in the vanity of their mind,

And ye have not so learned Christ;

See therefore how ye walk accurately, not as unwise, but as wise,

But as the church is subjected to Christ, so also wives to their own husbands in everything.

So ought men to love their own wives as their own bodies. He loving his wife, loves himself.

But ye also altogether, let each so love his own wife as himself: and the wife that she fear her husband.
